How's it going? I hope great as usual, my friends!
Well I recently did a blog entry about my "Top 3 Must Read Books", well that list was cool until I came across Jen Sincero's, You are a Badass at Making Money: Master the Mindset of Wealth. I read 60 pages straight the first night i cracked it open, then I said to my self "WOW this is some good stuff". I have to give credit to my beautiful lady for putting me on. We were in Target (her favorite store) and as we walked through the book section she picked up a copy of Jen's other book, You are a Badass: How to Stop Doubting your Greatness and Live an Awesome Life. Then she said "OH, They were talking about this book on the radio". After that I looked up and saw Master The Mindset of Wealth, and the rest was history.
This book really helped my outlook on business and life period. What comes out of your mouth comes into your life, is just one of many great lessons that I learned. You really do have to speak things into existence, because it will change your whole morale and outlook. If you want to be a millionaire or want that new job you have to wake up everyday and look in that mirror and claim it. This will increase your output and overall drive if you really believe and have faith.
I normally attend trade shows and markets to sell my products. After a night of reading, the next morning I went to the market with what felt like a natural high after implementing the knowledge gained. I just knew that I would have a great day filled with sales, and I did. Another lesson I learned that really clung to me was basically charge your worth. When you accept less for your products or services, that money and feeling just doesn't feel the same. I personally deal with this a lot. Discounts are cool sometimes, but at the end of the day always remember that you have a business to run and maintain.
I could go on and on about all of the gems in this book, but this is a book that needs to be read by everyone who wants to sharpen their mindset. I thank Jen for writing this masterpiece and my lady for bringing it to my attention. Also, you for taking the time to read this blog. See ya later guys!
